Blog graphics

I designed the icons and used my own handwriting for my blog header, which I made using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

Redbubble merchandise

I create designs for my own Redbubble shop, where I sell everything from stickers to notebooks and phone cases. I use Adobe Illustrator to create my own graphics and hand-lettering. (Have a design request? Please email me at darcyschild@gmail.com.)

I created my own magazine brand and designed spreads for both print and web. My “magazine,” The Fab is geared toward young women ages 13 to 18 who are “Fab” — Fun, Ambitious and Bright.

• Project: News design

I was given the challenge to create a news package using provided materials  (photographs and an article) from The Associated Press about Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

• Project: Event poster design

I created the art for this poster using Adobe Illustrator and made the layout in InDesign.
