I am a contributing writer for The Independent Florida Alligator, the largest student-run newspaper in the United States.

Her Campus UFL

I am currently a Features Editor for Her Campus UFL, the University of Florida chapter of Her Campus. I am training to lead the chapter as the next Editor-in-Chief and Campus Correspondent. I have written articles about everything from Gainesville life to film, music and fonts. Here are some of my favorite stories:

Thought Catalog

I wrote an opinion piece for the online magazine Thought Catalog.

University of Florida Office of Sustainability

I wrote a profile piece for the UF Office of Sustainability about three student interns who presented at a national sustainability conference.

Travel Reporting and Blogging

In May 2016, I traveled with the UF College of Journalism and Communications to Spain and Southern France and was selected by faculty to serve as the head blogger and photographer for the trip. I created a blog, From Gainesville to Gaudíwhere I documented our adventures. I also managed an accompanying Facebook page and crafted videos for each of our adventures. The Prospect

I spent one year writing for The Prospect, a student-run online magazine about college admissions, standardized testing and college lifestyle.   1. I love this blog and so lucky I stumbled upon it will drinking my coffee dreading to go to class, your living the college life I wish I had as you learn to write and become a journalist. All through high school I had a passion for journalism and sports photography, I was on my high schools newspaper and yearbook staff and in the summer would attend over night journalism camps. As a college choice it wasn’t the write ;) path for me but I can’t wait to continue to read your journey and articles!!
